Links and Web Sites I Like

Along with sites for artists, as I work toward my goal to Make >LESS< Work for me and my family, I have found other sites and blogs that are interesting and valuable. I find them inspiring for one reason or another. Maybe you will too.

http://scbwi.org   The Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators.

http://www.urbansketchers.org Urban Sketchers is a site that gathers and hosts sketchbook artwork from sketchers around the world.

www.pinterest.com The site I use to collect and organize style ideas.

http://dailyconnoisseur.blogspot.com/ Jennifer L Scott, author of Madame Chic - 20 Stylish Secrets I Learned While Living in Paris. I follow her on Facebook. She is an author who inspires me to make conscious choices about home life and how to present oneself.  I really like Jennifer's posts and look forward to her next book due in November.

http://www.puttingmetogether.com/ Audry does an excellent job of showing examples how to Shop Your Closet. I pull from her examples to use on Pinterest. She posted a great example of color theory. I was going to do one myself, but she already did and it is done well.

http://www.flylady.net/c/fp.php?tzm=300 She does a great job at inspiring us to keep an orderly cleaning schedule. I can't say I'm there yet, but I'm trying.

http://www.thebudgetfashionista.com/archive/cost-per-wear/  The explains the the cost-per-wear of an item that encourages higher quality over cheaper quantity.
